As we cruised out of the Marlborough Sounds early this morning we were treated to this wonderful sunrise, which lifted our spirits as, we were sad to be leaving the south island. We have had an amazing time there but I’m sure we will be back.
Hello North Island
AS you can see it was pretty grim as we approached The North Island! It was ok once we got in to Wellington though although it was very blowy! I can see why its called the “Windy City”. Spent the day at the Te Papa Museum what an amazing place. Emma was very impressed, particularly enjoying a life size cuddly penguin and crawling around inside a life-size model of a blue whales heart!

Fabulous sunrise pic – you should get it blown up. Hope the ferry wasn’t too vomit inducing. Glad you liked the museum, knew you’d spend the day there. Have fun cruising (quickly) upto Auckland. Don’t think you will fit everything in, nevermind, it will still be here. Don’t forget the driving rule – back to UK way. Love Liz.
