Where was shaun?

It got off to a bit of a rocky start. While I was loading my van up on Saturday I whacked my head on the catch for the rear doors which caused quite a large gash in my head and a trip upto Casualty to be glued up.  As a result of that I had the rest of the day off which was handy as it was a really lovely day. So we ended going to a fete at Messing which Emma really enjoyed, particularly bouncing on the bouncy castle and munching ice cream.

On Sunday we went next door to the church for the “Parachuting Teddy” event  The kids pay a pound to have their  favourite cuddly with make shift parachute attached, winched up to the top of the Church tower and catapulted off the top. The kids loved it, however Emma was a bit concerned and she had to be reassured that Jerry the Giraffe would be OK. His Tesco carrier bag parachute performed alright he even managed to miss the tower on the way down unlike some of his fellow adrenaline junkys, ouch!
