Well so far so good, had a bit of a frustrating day on Monday getting into the swing of feeding but with advice from Liz (thanks cus!) and some practical advice from the midwife we think we’re getting there. I’ve been put in charge of the nappy changing job and Emma and I are getting that sussed now and although I never thought I would say it, I enjoy doing it, its quite satisfying to have a sparkly clean Emma when we’re finished.
K is on the mend but still very sore and her milk is coming through now so she’s all aches and pains and I do feel for her but hopefully over the next couple of days she’ll start to feel better.

Hi Shaun & Kay. I finally got the link to your blog spot (Kate forwarded it to me) I looked for 30 seconds and started crying. Beautiful pictures and lovely words from you Shaun. I am so pleased for you both having a beautiful baby girl. Many Congratulations! With lots of love from Susan and family xxxx ps I will keep blogging now!
Hi there, just a bit of advise with breastfeeding. Massage with warm olive oil or get in a warm shower and massage, massage, massage. It really helps get the milk flowing and stops the milk ducts from blocking up. There will be ups and downs and you will worry like mad that Emma’s not getting enough etc but it all settles down and becomes the most beautiful experience ever. Enjoy x
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw bless her, gorgeous piccies
Can’t wait to see you all on 1st December
