Mallory Kane is a secret agent who works for a government security contractor. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency.
The critics do love a Steven Soderbergh film and with a star studded cast we thought we would give it a go. Well, I wish we had gone to see “The Grey” instead. The script is very poor, there’s little music so it lacks atomosphere. Gina Carano who plays Mallory Kane is ok but she can’t really carry the film and although I like Ewan Macgregor he was miscast in this film, not at all believable as the villian.
