We had a great week in the lakes. The weather was pretty good, we had a bit of rain most days but by the afternoon it would clear up and it was gorgeous.
We got out for walks every day, K was pretty good on the hills although we had to stop for lots of breathers and lots and lots of snack stops she just didn’t stop eating! We did mainly low level walks, I thought I might get a bit frustrated as I’m not usually happy unless I can do a biggie but it was nice to explore the lower fells for a change. We also got out to the coast we went up to St.Bees Head up near Whitehaven and had a great walk along the clifftop.
Our apartment was superb, right in the middle of the town so we had everything on our doorstep. It was nice to just have a short walk to the pub, cinema and Lucys where we had a gorgeous meal on Friday night.

Fantastic photos, you should do that – sack the electrics…. Glad to see you took it easy on the walks with K in her condition (not) poor girl – let her put her feet up for a bit now…
