I was off work for most of last week. I just felt really battered and bruised and as you can imagine we had loads of stuff to sort out. The Caples came to stay for Easter weekend which was nice as it cheered us up and it took of minds of car stuff. This week, I woke up Tuesday night with a really painful spasm in my neck so I’ve been off the rest of this week as I haven’t been able to move my head much. Its dead annoying, during the day it loosens up and you think its getting better but at night its dead painful and I can hardly move in the morning.
Easter Weekend
On Friday we went to Kentwell hall, a stately home in Long Melford where they do Tudor re-enactments. We all had a good day despite the rain although Emma found the people in costume a bit scary.
Sunday, we went to an Easter Egg hunt at Nichola’s. Emma had a fantastic time, she loved it!
This was the mums egg and spoon race. Emma wanted to go as well so unfortunately they came last!
We also popped over to Chris and Dereks for another Easter egg hunt. Lewis just couldn’t wait to munch his!

Hi there, poor you… I have had whiplash and it’s bloody painful. Plenty of heat (heat bag or hot water bottle) and anti-inflammatory’s, also you must try and get an appointment through your GP with a physio, really important to get some treatment. All of which should be paid for through the insurance company… hope you feel better soon… love the Easter photo’s x
Ay up! Mate, Jo’s on to it. You need to get that injury looked at sooner rather than later. I’ve started have a few problems again with my left arm – injured when I got knocked off my bike a few years back. I didn’t follow-up on treatment at the time because I didn’t think I needed any. With hindsight, that decison is best left to the professionals. Get some physio and get it sorted.
Incidentally, it was so good to see the contemporary Kiwi fashion on display at Kentwell Hall We’re not as far behind the rest of the world as some people think!
My thoughts as well – sorry to hear you are struggling with your neck, working at a physio, it is important to get treatment sooner rather than later, as the longer it goes on the harder it is to treat.
Make sue you do!
Thanks for the advice guys. I’m off to the docs on Wednesday to see what he suggests. I was back to work today my neck is still sore bit at least I
can move it now.
