I do love a french film. the women always look dead elegant, the houses are gorgeous, wonderful characters and the story is always told in a much more subtle manner.
This is an excellent film. Juliette, who has just finished a long prison sentence for murder goes to live with her sister, Léa’s family, including her husband, his mute father, and their two adopted Vietnamese daughters. The story unfolds brilliantly as she starts to integrate with the family and as you gradually discover what Juliette has done.
Great story, well acted by the whole cast, particuarly Kristen Scott Thomas and Elsa Zylbersteinhad.
I had a proper girls blouse moment at the end!
