Where was shaun?

The story of Arthur Fleck a failed comedian and entertainer who rages against a society that has constantly failed him as he becomes his alter ego, the Joker.

Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of Arthur as he struggles to integrate his peculiar personality is fantastic. Although he eventually becomes a monster I actually felt some sympathy for him as he is beaten, let down and ridiculed.

9/10 (lost a point for a what I felt was a daft scene right at the very end of the film)
