Just got back from a lovely weekend in Norfolk. We stayed in the “Barn Owls suite” at the Dairy Barns . A really lovely place to stay, we had a converted barn to ourselves and they even brought breakfast to us. Lurvely!
Last night we had tea at the local pub and today it just rained and rained but we weren’t bothered it was just to nice have a lie in and mooch. We had a walk on the beach and visited Horsey mill and a lovely thatched church that was built in 900.
The wind pump, now disused, used to be maintained by Arthur Dove but before he took up his post, Arthur endured the traditional initiation ceremony of being rotated once on the wind pump sails!
