We met K’s midwife today. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but she’s a really nice girl called Louise. She came to the house so we sat in the garden and went through everything.
K’s blood pressure is good, she got to wee on a stick (not sure why but she lit up all the right squares!) and we listened to the heartbeat which was amazing. Louise also asked k where she wanted to have the baby and k has chose the Halstead Birthing Centre which isn’t as big and scary as Colchester General.
K’s now feeling a lot more confident as louise was dead nice, laid back and also very reassuring.
