Why? You may ask, well because its the home of the Electric palace which at over 100 years old is one of oldest purpose build cinemas.
Its a fabulous place, quite tiny you virtually step straight into the auditorium as you go in and its got cool little Sweet shop in the corner. Obviuosly the screen isnt too big but it was fine and the sound was good as well, and all for £7.
We had a quick tea (beef stew) and a pint at the Alma pub before we went. A proper pub with lots of character and very friendly staff. So, all in all a right good night in Harwich!
The Imitation Game
The dramatised story about the Alan Turing who cracked the Enigma Code and was a pioneer computer scentist.
Its a really good film about his life and really brings home to you how much of an influence he has had on our lives today. Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightly are both really good in it. There are quite a few inaccuracies but it is still an enjoyable film and it does inform everybody of how important he was.
