Stayed up until 2am this morning to watch the Perseid meteor shower. The conditions were almost perfect with very little cloud and no moon.
We had a bit of a snooze in the evening and then just before midnight we got wrapped up, made a flask of coffee and went and sat down on the golf course(which felt more than a little weird!) It was really good, we could see Mars in the eastern Sky, the Milky way above us and then we saw the meteor shower. We spotted about 20 or so with one really good one which even had a tail.
I’m feeling a bit knackered today though as I had to get up at 4.15 for work!
