Siobhan, a scientist is sent on a fishing trawler to conduct a study. Unbeknown to her and the rest of the crew the captain takes them into an exclusion zone in pursuit of a shoal of fish. While in the zone the run into an unknown creature and soon discover several breaches in the hull and soon discover long tendrils from the creature attached to the ship.
We enjoyed this, it’s a perfectly ok thriller/horror. Good feeling of claustrophobia on the boat. Hermione Corfield is good as the emotionally deficient Siobhan. Dougray Scott, I could hardly understand. But it’s enjoyable and they’ve achieved a lot on what seems to be a low budget film and deserves to be supported. It reminded me a lot of life, which to be honest, is the better film, but this is well worth a watch.
