As I’ve got older I’ve turned into a right girls blouse when it comes to music. Throughout my twenties I was alright, there was just one song that brought a lump to my throat and that was the gospel version of U2’s “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”.
But now, in my late thirties, I’m reduced into a gibbering wreck all the time! It doesn’t necessarily have to be a moving or sad song it can just be really good.
I was listening to “God is a DJ” by Faithless the other day and when it came to the chorus I couldn’t sing it because I had a big lump in my throat it was more of a “god is …whimper” I get the same reaction if I watch a big football or rugby match. If England score in a major game I can’t cheer! I just sit there saying “they scored..sniff..its great… ”
Anyway, the reason I’m writing this is because I have just watched a trailer for “Sunshine” on “I am kloots” page on youtube and its really cool as its one of the best films this year and it features “Avenue of Hope” by I am kloot which is just such a beautiful song and every time I listen to it it just sets me off!

One response to “Songs that Make you Cry”
I think that you should explore your spiritual side and do an alpha course. I think that God is calling you. Love from Auntie Ol xx
