This is an excellent story about the lives of James T. Kirk and Spock, before they unite aboard the USS Enterprise. It really focuses on Spock, his early life and his feud with Nero, the Romulan from the future who threatens the United Federation of Planets.
The film is superb, it looks fantastic, the story is brilliant, loads of action and humour as well. I would definitely recommend seeing this on the big screen. It really took me back to the first time I saw Star Wars because it was just so exciting to watch, in fact, there are a couple of scenes which totally reminded me of Star Wars particularly “Return of the Jedi” I won’t say what they are but if anyone spots them, let me know. I think for me this could be the film of the year perhaps better than “Slumdog Millionaire”.
