Jason Statham plays Terry, a car dealer with a dodgy past is offered the chance to get out of the rut by a girl from his old neighbourhood. It’s a chance to break into its bank and its safety deposit boxes for loads of cash and jewely. But what they terry and his mates don’t realise is what dirty secrets they will also find and how much certain people will want them back.
This is a good, simple british film , good story, pretty tense, and quite funny in places . Its loosely based on fact, apparently in 1971, there was a bank raid and after 4 days of media coverage there was a d-notice issued by the goverment stopping all media coverage in the interests of national security. I wonder how much thruth there is in what the film suggests?

I enjoyed this film-I’m a ‘heist’ fan. Jason Statham was excellent as Terry the leader of the gang as was John Suchet the ‘evil’ porn king.
Breaking into safety-deposit boxes must be a really interesting occupation!
