With the help of the police and the District Attorney, Batman sets out to destroy organised crime in Gotham for good,at first they succeed, but they soon find themselves prey to the Joker, who creates anarchy in Gotham and forces the Batman closer to crossing the line between hero and vigilante.
This is a big, thrilling film and fantastic to watch. Brilliantly directed by Christopher Nolan, the action scenes and the shots of the city at night are amazing.
What really makes the film though, is the fabulous performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker. His portrayal of this twisted, psychotic character is superb and I hope he is awarded the posthumous academy award.
Great film, try your best to see it on the big screen.
