As the Nazis are invading Europe and advancing across France and trapping the AAlied forces on the beaches of Dunkirk. Chrurchill has his own party plotting against him, a skeptical king, he must defy the calls for talks with Hitler and “defend our island whatever the cost will be”
A fascinating story and of course an amazing performance by Gary Oldman – it will be a well deserved Oscar I reckon.
