Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) plays an alien sent down to earth to assess whether humanity can reverse the environmental damage it has inflicted on planet Earth.
This film was savaged by the critics but that could be because they were comparing it to the original. Some of the characters are a bit odd and its the perfect role for Reeves, playing a character showing no emotion, but its pretty tense and the central message of the film is a good one.
Don’t expect too much from it. If your a fan of sci-fi its well worth a watch if your not, you could get really bored.
