The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

hobbit

After the death of The dragon Smaug the Dwarves claim back the Lonely mountain and the riches it contains. Soon however, the people of laketown and the elves want their share. However, Thorin, consumed by greed refuses to share the gold and a war begins. But, can they unite against their common enemy, the Orcs?

while the girls went to watch “Disney on Ice” at the O2 Corky, John and I went to see this at the Imax in Waterloo. It was incredible to see it on that screen. Its an epic ending to the trilogy. Although the story is just based around the final battle it really is an amazing spectacle and well worth a watch preferably on the big screen.

  1. Went to see it in 3D with Liz, Evie & Ben the other day. I think I may have confused a lot of people when I blurted out that I thought Ned Stark was dead! Dwarves aye? Who’d mess with them?

    1. Ned Stark??? Were you drunk?

  3. Unfortunately, no! I just enjoy sowing the seed of doubt in people’s minds. I sure that a couple of people in the theatre thought they were watching GoT for a few minutes at least. Moohaahaahaa!
