K and I had a good giggle watching this yesterday afternoon.
Its the story of five spoiled actors who are filming a Vietnam film. The director, in a bid to get proper performances out of them, drops them in the jungle, installs hidden cameras and rigs special effect explosions so he can film them guerrilla-style. Unbeknown to them they have been dropped in an area controlled by heroin producers…..
Its good fun, and very funny, Robert Downey Jnr plays my favourite character, an Australian method actor playing a black sergeant and Tom Cruise has a cameo role as Les Grosman the financier of the film and he is dead funny.
Well worth a watch but wait until its out on DVD.
