Had a really good birthday today. K and I went to Marks Hall for a walk in the morning and then for a really nice lunch at The Halfway near Kelvedon.
The day was topped off by the news that our Emma has passed her 11 plus which means if she wishes she can apply for Colchester High School for Girls.
Well done Emma!!! Xxx

Cheers Cus, Thanks for the card. Your right I definitely don’t feel fifty but it’s very weird getting birthday cards with 50 on them!
Emma’s applied to the girls high just got to wait now to see if she gets in it’ll be fantastic if she does. It’s one of the best schools in the country. If she doesn’t though, it’s still a good achievement for her.
