Unfortunately..I booked the wrong week off work and had the week before half term rather than the actual week.
So, onn the Monday I decided to go for a bike ride in the sunshine. I headed up to Sudbury and across to Cavendish and Clare stopping st Foxearth for a flapjack break I took this picture of the rather nice church ( I like the clock)
Tuesday I helped my friend Dave on his house.
Wednesday K swapped her clients around and we went for a hike of about 12 miles which was the longest walk we’ve done in ages. It was a beautiful day and so nice to get out.
We came across this wonderful structure near Belchamp Hall in Bulmer. It’s in the field opposite the hall and must be related to the hall but I can’t find out anything about it. It’s not even on the OS map.
Thursday I got some jobs done at home and on Friday Dad and I went for a walk at Bures. Well, I say a walk, it was more a tour of benches on which to contemplate, enjoy the scenery and chat.
So, I had a really nice week and really lucky with the weather.
