We had a cheeky weekend Away in Oxford just before Xmas. We had a great time staying at out bargain Premier Inn (£32 a night!) we drove over on Friday and spent the afternoon and evening exploring and having tea at a Vietnamese restaurant called “Pho” where we had an awesome meal.

Saturday, we met up with the Caple’s and explored the town and the museums going to the Ashmolean, Pitt Rivers, (home if freaky shrunken skulls) and my favourite the Natural History museum which is a beautiful Victorian building.
In the evening we went to the Old Bookbinders pub, an awesome, oldy Woldy pub with a french landlord so the food was french inspired, great burgers!
Sunday, we did an urban ramble by the river, around the Jericho area and through the university parks which were a tad flooded.
A right good weekend!
