Weird Times

Took this piccie on a walk near Hadleigh on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and so nice to get out for a good walk while all the world is going mad around us.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Emma is now off school for what could be until September. The school has been excellent, setting her up with plenty of work online and she’s been able to chat to her school friends while she’s working using ms teams so, so far, she’s quite happy.

I’m still at work as we are apparently key workers. I feel like I’m in sort of weird bubble as I go to work as normal and most businesses are shut down. Social distancing is taking some getting used too as people you know and regularly talk too step back when they are talking to you or pass things too you at arms length. Its also so strange as phrases such as “social distancing” “lockdown” and “self isolating” which we never used until About 3 weeks ago are now used everyday.

Most people I talk too are just really worried and bewildered by it all.

K has informed all her clients that she won’t be working for now and they are all fine with that as they are either home anyway or are high risk.

And you, dear reader, I hope you are well and continue to be. Take all the proper precautions and we will get to the other side of this.

Love S x
