Halla seems to have a quiet existence however she is really an eco activist waging a private war on Iceland’s aluminium industry.
However as the war heightens she receives the news that her application to adopt a child has been successful.
A quirky, black comedy set in the wonderful Icelandic landscape – what’s not to like? I love the dry wit that Icelandic film makers include in their films. The on-screen musicians in this film are hilarious.
If you like this film then also see “Rams”.
